1. ~On the day of celebration~Heartwarming Soup in a Lucky Shape.

The soup is served with three types of ingredients: matsutake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and plums, respectively. These ingredients are symbolically associated with pine trees, bamboo, and plum trees, which represent happiness, wishes, and celebrations. Wrapped in a sea bream-shaped "monaka", this dish is suitable for a festive meal.

2. Utilization of "UMAMI" and healthy dining

OSUIMONO (Japanese style clear soup) starts with a foundation of Dashi derived from fish and kelp. Dashi serves as an essential element in Japanese cuisine and is critical in shaping the flavor. Moreover, "umami" plays a role in a healthy diet devoid of animal fats which helps prevent obesity, thus showing the union of culture and well-being.

3. Savory MONAKA: Handcrafted by artisans

The sea bream shape's wrapper is identical to that of Japanese confectionery, handcrafted by artisans. The wrapper's thinness is crucial for Monaka's taste and is expertly adjusted by the artisan's experience. By carefully checking for uneven baking and flaws, the sea bream shape can be beautifully finished. The sticky rice used is Hiyokumochi from Saga Prefecture, Japan, known for its sweetness and stickiness, thus elevating the delicacy of the Monaka.

How to eat

1. Prepare a 7oz soup bowl of your choice. Use a teaspoon to gently tap one side of the fish shape, creating a small cavity.

2. Next, pour the contents inside into the bowl (Don't throw the fish away yet!) and add 5.5oz of boiled water. Adjust the amount of water to your preference.

3. Put the fish back into the bowl to make it float, and enjoy its appearance. Allow it to cool for a few minutes until it reaches a suitable temperature for consumption.
